Come and enjoy the fun at Kidbrooke Village Fete

Fairground rides, craft stalls, live music and inflatables will transform Cator Park into a hive of activity when Berkeley Homes hosts its third community-focused Kidbrooke Village Fête on Saturday 18th July, from 12pm to 6pm.

Building on the success of last year's event, this year's Kidbrooke Village Fête will feature a specially- erected main stage in Cator Park and will see artists like Jake Benjamin, Celia Droz, Tim De Graauw, Mitch Emery, Fendahline, Chloe Jac, Linda Em (and band), Naomi Hedman and local group The Swifty Barnets, who will keep the crowds entertained.

Soft green grass in front of the stage means visitors are more than welcome to bring their own blankets to relax on during the course of the day.

The ever-popular tea cup ride will also be present, along with swing boats, a bungee run and a bouncy castle. Classic games such as hook a duck, a coconut shy and snakes and ladders will ensure that children of all ages are kept busy at this open air event.

This free family friendly community event will see The Mayor of the Royal Borough of Greenwich, Councillor Norman Adams, attend at 3.30pm.

Food outlets at the fête will be providing a range of hot and cold dishes including a hog roast, burgers and vegetarian options to buy. Heaven's Celtic Kitchen which originates from Halton Court in Kidbrooke Village will be there, selling delicious cakes that will more than satisfy those who have a sweet tooth.

Adults will be able to enjoy some alcoholic beverages courtesy of Hop Stuff Brewery who will be serving up cask ales, which have been brewed at Berkeley Homes' Royal Arsenal Riverside development in Woolwich, along with traditional ciders and Pimm's.

For those looking to get creative, a jewellery stall will provide the chance for visitors to make their own charms and bracelets to remember the day. A vast range of other arts and crafts stalls will also be selling flowers, fashionable children's clothes, scarves, beauty products and good old fashioned tea, to name just a few.

OneSpace which supports the local community are set to hold a shoot the hoop and beat the goalie competition, whilst David Lloyd Gym will be running a range of physical activities including zumba sessions.
